The Last Paisley Attitude QuickPage Freebie

Hey Y'all!

Thought I would go ahead and post this freebie this morning before I go to bed. You see, I am a 'night owl' and sleep during the day and play at night; my children wonder if I am a vampire! LOL! I just found I get a lot more done overnight than in the daytime; I am distracted easily. :)

I know, it is easy to just grab and run,, I am guilty of that too but I am making a conscience effort to always leave at least a simple thank you. Until you have been slaving over a design for hours on end you won't know the satisfaction and encouragement that can come from those two words (unless you are a Mom that cooks meals every single day for her family and no one says a word of thanks but is quick on the complaints).

I am working on my latest kit, Retro Summer, and I think you will like this one if you are over 50 and under 18 :)  Retro seems to be the 'thing' with the kids now and that kind of makes me happy I lived during the 60's. I know we had the very best music that has ever been played, before or after! Wonderful: Chubby Checker, Elvis, Ricky Nelson, Bobby Darin, The Shirelles, Shelley Fabares, The Supremes, The Big Bopper, Fats Domino, The Beatles, Chubby Checker, man these names just bring back the memories! Wish I knew then what I know now. And don't forget we had Dick Clark and American Bandstand!

I am sorry about not getting it to you yesterday, I haven't been feeling well and sometimes it is just hard to be alive.  I was hoping the cool weather was on the way in but now the weather people tell us it is going to be a longer summer than usual. I guess I shouldn't push time to move on by since I have so much to do and in the back of my mind I know I have Thanksgiving and Christmas to get through! Got to plan ahead when you are old because you never know what's going to come and mess up your plans.

Hello Digi Scrappers!

Wow, it is hard for me to fathom that the summer is almost over because it feels like it is going to last forever! I am totally excited to see it leave North Carolina behind; I dislike summer. Summer to me is an endless cycle of mowing, bug spraying, outrageous heat, high electricity bills, and general discomfort. I know some folks just count the days until summer arrives but that is certainly not me :)  Our temperatures have stayed below 90 this past 5 days so I guess you could say we are having a cool wave. When we moved down here from Virginia it was to follow the job and we had a choice of Seattle or Charlotte; why or why did we pick Charlotte? Because it is beautiful, closer to relatives, is in the US southern states, and is rich in history and art. Now the pluses of choosing Seattle would be that it is beautiful, far away from relatives, is in the Pacific North West of the US, is rich in history and art, and has cooler temperatures than Charlotte!

My friend SherryD of Sher Scraps 4 CU and Wonderland Scraps, has been playing around with my Paisley Attitude kit (available in any of my shops) and fashioned some freebies for you. Today I am giving you the beautiful card front she made. It is 5 x 7 but it may be re-sized easily to your favorite card size and is great for most anything from thank you cards to birthdays. Sherry and I both hope you enjoy using this card front and will come back to get the other two freebies she has made for you!
