Well, I couldn't resist the play on words taken from my new kit, Glorious Christmas. Did I tell you that I am actually proud to have been the designer of this one? I love it and need to do a layout or two with it myself. LOL! Our Chris has done several and now Dawn has two for you to see too! I am sure you will not be disappointed if you buy a copy of Glorious Christmas for your stash. It is in all my stores but it is actually on sale at ScrapBird, the link can be found on the right.
Chris has another free quickpage for you too! The first one she did we gave away in last week's newsletter and I will offer it again in the next couple of newsletters since this is such a busy time of year for everyone.
You can download this freebie from 4Shared HERE or from MediaFire HERE!
There is another free quickpage from Chris that I will put in the next newsletter.
Carol used my new kit Glorious Christmas to make this tag and she has a tut on her blog. I don't use PSP but if I did I would make one of these for practice. Be sure and go by her blog at the above address.
It's completed! Glorious Christmas has been uploaded to all my stores (links on your right) and is ready for you! If you would like to be able to pick this kit up for the cheapest price, go to ScrapBird! ScrapBird is having month long sales since it's her birthday month. The percentage lowers with every week we are nearer to Christmas so go and get yours soon!
There are more previews available via the Newest Kit Previews tab above!
I have made you a little gift of some printable Christmas tags. Print out as many as you need, punch a hole in the upper left corner, add string or ribbon, and put on your gifts; you can also forgo making the hole and glue or tape the tags on. I hope you like this little freebie. Chris has made a couple of quickpages for you too! I have one in my newsletter that was sent out this morning; you can only get it by receiving my newsletter and I have decided to offer the newsletter freebies each newsletter through to the 1st week of the new year since everyone is so busy this month! Sign up for my newsletter on your right.
You can get the free Christmas tags at 4Shared HERE or MediaFire HERE!
Here is the quickpage Chris made that's available only through my newsletter (the year date is left blank so you may add you own):
I sincerely hope you all are having a wonderful December no matter where you live and no matter which holiday this month you call your own!
I know, I know :) I have been MIA for so long you figured I had given up the ghost! I am a slow designer and poster. Everything has to be just so before I let it go and I have been told to just do it and get it over with but that won't ever happen with me! LOL! It is just the way I'm made. I know a young designer that is a young mother, wife, student, office worker, and a blogger who post sometimes as many as three times a day and has freebies everyday! She is awesome and you should check her out! Sugarbutt Designs! Now, doesn't that make up for my lack of speed?
Here is a free quickpage for you made by the (also) awesome Chris Allport! She has used my kit Mia Bella Zingaro and you can find it in any of my shops very soon and at Bella Zingaro Studio right now. Chris did such a nice job!
I have been working on a Christmas kit, Glorious Christmas, that I wanted to have in the stores by December 1 but that didn't happen! I like to make all my elements and papers so it does take a while but I can give you a sneak peek at what will be in it:
It will have photo masks, frames, two alphas, borders, elements, papers, and more!
Hope you all are having a wonderful week and I promise to try and get back to you soon.
Just dropped by to let you know that all my shoppes are having a 50% off sale from Thanksgiving to Monday night at midnight. There are links to all my shoppes on the right sidebar. I have a freebie for you below!
I've been trying to get up here and leave you a freebie for the past two hours; something is wrong with our Internet. Maybe it is (hopefully) all the folks in the Northeast US getting their power back on and accessing the Internet; that would be great and certainly a positive step toward normalcy! We have had so much going on in our country this past week, Halloween, Presidential campaigning, a Tsunami on the West coast and Hawaii, and Hurricane Sandy on the East coast. But this list affects all of us in the US whether we live in the East, Midwest, or West we are all bereaved by the loss of life and limb, hopeful for the coming Presidential election, and looking forward to the coming holiday season. I wish for everyone to be happy and healthy, not suffering the pain of loss, and going forward toward a bright future.
We have some great sales going on around the digital scrapbooking community this weekend! I have all of my shops on sale for 50% off through Monday at midnight and so do a lot of other designers. This being our interNational Scrapbooking Day Weekend means you can get out those debit cards, pull out those PayPal passwords, and shop the great bargains without breaking the bank! I heard one person describe this weekend as the digital equivalent of Black Friday!
Our new store opened this week! Bella Zingaro Studio threw open its doors to the masses and is looking forward to a long and successful existence. I have my shop at Bella at 20% off for the remainder of the month after Monday's 50% goes off. Bella Zingaro has some really awesome designers that have recently come back into the fray and are also looking forward to Bella's success. Please come by and give us a chance to dazzle you with our products and prices!
Now that I've gotten so far into this post, without the Internet dumping me, I think it's about time I show you today's freebie! I made this from my Mia Bella Zingaro kit that is exclusive to Bella Zingaro Studio for the month of November. I made a different one for my newsletter subscribers too so be sure and sign up so you can have them both! I hope you like this quickpage!
I couldn't upload my freebie to 4Shared for some unknown reason, so I opened a new account at Box.com so I could still offer you two places to download from :o) If you have any trouble with Box leave me a comment and I will see what I can do.
Download from MediaFire HERE. Download from Box HERE.
It's going on past 3am here, so I best be off to get something done before I go to bed. Hope you all have been safe this week and will come back to visit me again. Please send your scrapbooking friends by so they can get some freebies too!
Just dropping by to leave these ads for you! Please come by and pick up some great deals by all of the designers. I will have more of my products loaded into the shop by then too so you will really pick up some bargains!
Two sales will be available in November the first is this 50% off one, the next will be 25% off for the balance of the month!
Thanks for visiting! Come back soon for some freebies!
All ready for the biggest candy holiday of them all?
Halloween will be here in 13 days! I’m sure you have grabbed all the freebies
that abound at this time of the year just for celebrating and documenting
Halloween. Those of us who live in the states forget that everyone doesn’t
celebrate the same holidays that we do. I have some friends in Australia and
they celebrate Halloween but my friends in the United Kingdom don’t. It is a
fun holiday for little kiddies but a lot of us adults hate to see it come
around every year. It’s not the children’s faults that Halloween is now synonymous
with vandalism and greed, but the parents of all those teens and adults that
didn’t curb bad behavior in their children. Because it got so bad in our little
town, I’d say at least half of the homes turn out the lights and batten down
the hatches and do not participate in giving out the candy and fun. Such a
shame; I loved Halloween when I was little.
Been a little slow around the digital scrapping world this
past couple of days and I guess this is the lull before the storm that will hit
on November 1 when all the digital shops will start touting their Christmas
products. I was hoping to be a part of a blog train but didn’t find one to sign
up for; therefore I think I will put out a mini kit or element package on my
own. So be sure and check with me during the month of November for my
contribution to your holiday digital scrapbooking stash! For those of you who
are new to my blog, you should go back through my posts and grab the freebies
you have missed this past six months, all the links are still valid. While you
are here you might sign up for my newsletter too as I give away a nice freebie
with each letter that goes out! Oh, and go to my FaceBook Fan Page and ‘like’
me for another little freebie!
Speaking of newsletter freebies, this is what subscribers
got when they opened this week’s little newsletter:
Today, I have a little gift for my blog followers! I made a
Thanksgiving wordart that I thought would be very classy as the title to your
Thanksgiving Day layout. For my other friends who don’t celebrate it down-under and around the world,
I made a frame cluster.Hope you all can
use these freebies!
Just wanted to let you know I finished another commercial use item. Hope you like it!

Hope everything is fine with y'all tonight/today/this morning! LOL! We are spread out all over the world aren't we? Isn't the Internet amazing? Did you ever think you would be friends with people in countries other than your own? I wish I was younger, not because I was beautiful and talented (did I say beautiful), so that I could enjoy all this freedom to learn and investigate and communicate longer. I love the Web! I don't think I have ever enjoyed anything as much as I have and am enjoying the Internet. I remember the first week we had a home computer and my roommate was dialing the telephone from it in order to go up to the Epson Bulletin Board to find out what was happening with other Epson users. We were the first of our friends and the first on our street to have a computer and we thought we were hot stuff :o) The first project I worked on was a security manual for the bank I worked for as their Security Manager. I wrote the entire manual on that old Epson (it was new then of course) and printed it out on a dot matrix printer! We thought that was so amazing, that we could type and correct then print out on our own printer. This was before every office had one of the 'line' correctable typewriters, you know the ones that let you back up by one line and correct a mistake before it printed on your paper! Wow! I am going on my own personal memory trip! Anyway, you get my meaning: THE WORLD WIDE WEB IS WONDERFUL!
I promised that I would come back this week with a freebie for you and I finally got a chance to make good on my promise! I have made you a Halloween overlay to use over your paper of choice. Try different blending styles with it to get some really interesting papers to use in your scrapping. I love the little bats and glassy eyed frog! Here is the preview:
You can download this freebie from HERE or from HERE.
I am past due to send out a newsletter too and I have made a freebie for it also. It is called Scary Jack because it is a Jack-O-Lantern sitting in the dark with two candles lit inside casting out some spooky light! I thought it would be a fun sign to have at your Halloween parties (you can get Costco to print it for you for as little as $1.49 for an 8x8 or $2.99 for 12 x 12)) or a cute clipart element to add to your Halloween scrapbook layouts.
Be sure and sign up for my newsletter (to your right on the side panel) if you haven't already so you can get your copy of Scary Jack!
Okay, I have a question for all you hybrid and altered art scrappers. When you print out a digi-stamp to use in your project and you want to color it with color pens, chalks, watercolors, etc. what do you do to keep the inkjet inks from running and smearing and ruining your project? A friend of mine is getting ready to market some gorgeous digi-stamps that are geared toward the paper and altered arts scrappers. These artists don't print out their elements in color like we digi-scrappers do, they use them as if they had a stamp they pounced on an ink pad then color it in. I know that there are fixatives for this but what do You use and what do you think is the best way to use it? If anyone comes up with a super good answer I am pretty sure I could talk my friend into giving you a Christmas digi-stamp to use on your projects! Just leave your answers in the comments section or email me at email@example.com with Digi-Stamp in the subject line.
I am sorry I have not been blogging as I should, this past month has been a doosey and looks like October is going to be going the same way! I have been blessed with a design assistant by the name of Chris Allport who has turned into one of the greatest finds a designer could hope for; she is knowledgeable, quick, prolific, has an ace photog as a husband, and is indispensable! It will be because of her if I get back here again this month!
Oh, one more thing: The new design store I was joining this month has had a small set back but Bella Zingaro Studio will be up and running by November 1, this year! So keep your ears tuned for the Grand Opening which promises to be a fun time!
Wanted to leave you a quick note to say I am sorry to not have
been in touch for a while; you know how bad I am about this at the end of the
month! I am always trying to ‘catch up’ by hurrying up but end up taking more
time than I would have if I took the time in the first place.
I have finished the Retro Summer Add-On since I last posted
and Chris has used it to make a layout. I want to make one too, but it will
have to wait until I get everything taken care of in the new shop at Bella
Gypsy Scraps. We were suppose to open yesterday but it seems like everyone
involved had a bad September and didn’t get their stuff up either; looks like
it might be Halloween before the grand opening! Here is Chris’ pretty layout:
Here is the preview of the Retro Add-On and it is available in all my stores (listed and linked on your right).
I was trying to make you a free paper template group when
Photoshop crashed on me so it will have to wait a little while. Sorry.
I am passed due to send out a newsletter so look for one
really soon which will have a freebie too.
I will leave you with the promise to come back with the
freebie ASAP and if PhotoShop cooperates!
Hello my blog friends! Have you been as busy as you can
possibly be with the new school season starting (or ending as the case may be)
and Halloween on its way? I seem to always be decrying my lack of time; sleep
time, fun time, design time (which is fun time too), and friend time all seem
to disappear much quicker now that I am over 60. Too many things get away from
me and one of them is my blog. I truly want to be able to post every day but
have never seemed to be able to accomplish that feat.At least when I update you I can offer you a
freebie or two!
Today’s freebie products come to you from Chris
Allport.Chris has fashioned two card
fronts and two elements from Paisley Attitude and Retro Summer. Since I haven’t
been around much lately I thought, ‘why not give my blog friends all the
freebies at once this week?’ And after you catch these freebies, check your
email account for this week’s Country Liv’s Graphics newsletter so you can add
a quickpage I made from Retro Summer and, the soon to be published, Retro
Summer Add-On! Easy peasy! Retro Summer was a labor of love for me because I
loved the sixties when I was in them and love to remember them now! If you
haven’t signed up for my newsletter please do so now so you will be able to
collect even more freebies than I have, here, on my blog! If you would like to take a quick look at Retro Summer just click on the tab above to be taken to that page.
