Happy December!

Hello Y'all!

How have you been? Are you getting ready for the holidays or have you finished? I used to get all my preparations done before December but now that I am older and the children don't expect too much from me, I put it off as long as possible. Have you been scrapbooking your photos? Don't let them get too far behind because once you let it lag, it isn't that easy to catch up! I have years and years worth of photos to scrap; I hardly ever get a chance for some down time and scrapping like I used to do. Once in a while I will get a photo that makes me drop everything and scrap it, I really enjoy those times. LOL! The last time that happened was with Dawn Romance and a photo of little James Cooper, my best friend Chris' grandson. What do you think? He is such a cutie!

I just released another new romantic kit called Moonlight, Velvet and Roses. I just put it in the shops yesterday so I hope you will take a look to see if you would like to scrap with it. I made a tiny gift for you of a cluster from the kit; I hope you can use it! Oh, here is a layout that Chris made with Moonlight:

Here is the ScrapBird preview of Moonlight:

Here is the gift I was telling you about:

I hope you enjoy it! Come back and check on me once in a while, okay?

Hugs,

Sunday September 7, 2014!

Oh my goodness! Do you realize it is almost 2015? I have barely gotten used to using 2014 on everything :) The older you get, the faster time goes by. Birthdays, Christmas, and the school years tumble into each other at such a pace as to go by as a blur when you are in your sixties! One good thing about that is when you get a cold or the flu, it is just a blip in your time frame!

Sorry about last week's post.  My sinuses were acting up again and I couldn't see out of my right eye so you got the freebie, but not the post! Hmmm . . . that could be a good thing too!

I have some new products spread around my digital stores; the last three are only available at Digi Style Designs this month.  Here are the previews.

Today's freebie is a stacked paper and a frame. Click on the link below the preview to download. Enjoy!

Thanks for coming by!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hello Scrapbooking Fans!

Well, another week has come and gone and Christmas is almost here! Yesterday was the first day of winter for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere but down here in the Carolinas it was like a balmy day in June! The weatherman has promised us winter like temperatures for Christmas day; hope he is correct!

Are you ready for your winter or summer holiday? I seem to have done all the damage I can to my purse with only the cooking left to prepare.  It ought to be an interesting experience with a new member of my household in attendance!  I guess I will have to move Miss Minnie's playpen into the kitchen so she can watch me and not get upset from separation anxiety!

This weekend's gifts are papers that I made using photos from Chris's garden.  I am calling them Pink Christmas because they seem so festive to me. Three are yours today and if you receive my newsletter you will get 3 additional ones tomorrow. Please click on the link below the preview.

I hope you have a wonderful, love filled holiday, not matter what you are celebrating! Till next week . . .

Sunday Blog Freebie!

Hello Friends, Fans, and Followers! How have you been doing this past week? Are you experiencing weather upheavals in your part of the world? It is getting closer to the best time of the year for North Carolina, fall! When the hot summer sun starts its winter descent we can finally breath a sigh of relief! The other great thing about this time of the year in the US is we get new television programs! Yay! I am looking forward to the dramas, mysteries, and cop/firemen shows! I love to sit and veg in the evenings in front of my telly!

If you are looking for the Blog Train List Blog Train, it is in the post prior to this one.

I uploaded some new products this week; I added three minis to the Art Nouveau category at Digi Style Designs.

I have something different for you this week.  I made some flairs/buttons that you can use on your Facebook postings as well as your scrapbooking layouts!  I thought they would be fun to use and since they are so small, they upload in an instant so take no time to use. There are 8 separate, identified, files for convenience; just put them in a folder on your desktop so you know where to grab them from.  I hope you enjoy this freebie!

Don't forget to sign up for my newsletter and when you do, be sure and confirm the subscription when Mad Mimi sends you the link! My next free drawing will be in the October 6, 2013 newsletter!

Thanks for dropping by!

More New Products and Weekend Gift!

Hello Scrappers!

Here in the States, we have had a major celebration of our country's birth all across the nation!  It is really heartwarming to see folks put aside their differences and celebrate with each other. I had a quiet day with my family planned but it didn't work out as I hoped, Kimberli was too tired to come visit.  My neighbors didn't have a quiet day planned for me though! LOL! I don't know where they get the money for all these hours and hours of fireworks but they really out did themselves this year even though the fireworks are illegal in our state and town! Did you celebrate the 4th of July (Independence Day) in your hometown? Send me (countrylivscraps at live dot com) some photos of your parades and celebrations and I will post them so we can all share your fun!

I have some more products uploaded and ready for your perusal! This group is tags, cutting file tags and tag templates; really versatile and necessary components of your gift giving. The first ones are a collection of 9 tag templates and 2 printable paper designs for your electronic cutting machine! Make birthday, Christmas, gift tags, and name tags from this collection. Print out the enclosed papers and make unique tags with little effort, adding ribbons, paper or silk flowers, rub-ons, buttons or anything that strikes your fancy! Each design is saved in its own files and I have included two .png sheet files for multiple designs on the same cut.

The next product is nine tag designs to use in your scrapping kits, layouts, or for making those all important gift tags for birthdays, Christmas, and Chanukkah!  I have included 3 decorated tags for your personal use too. Just clip your desired paper to the template then add elements, names, journaling, etc.  Tags are shown smaller than actual sizes on the preview; tags are easily resized for your specific needs.

Both of these products are available in all my shops listed in the sidebar with links!

This weekend's blog gift is a tag cluster and matching 12x12 paper that was made using a tag template from those above.

Hope you like this little freebie and will come back and visit with me again!

Looking for the blog train freebies? the list is 2 posts down :) PS:  This week's newsletter gift is another tag cluster for your personal use, so sign up for my newsletter today in the sidebar, top right corner.  Be sure and activate the subscription when you receive the confirmation e-mail or you will miss the free gift!

Hello Scrap Fans!

Hello Scrap Fans!

How was your last week of June?  Can you believe that half the year has passed and Christmas isn't far away? The older you get the quicker the time passes, so, if you are still young, cherish every minute!

It may be the center of the year but it is still springtime in some places as evidenced by all the little animals showing up in FaceBook timelines. Friend, and awesome designer, Jodiann Cates has been raising a squirrel Pepper;

friends and cohorts Chris and Richard Allport have been working in their back garden that is ultra lovely and getting ready to just burst with flowers!

My little second cousin Courtney has been frolicking in her pool

and great grandson Gavin is having a wonderful time with his Nana Kim!

Busy busy time of the year!

I am still working on learning how to do cutting files.  I thought I had everything ready and waiting to go but once the files were used a problem showed its nasty head. A new friend, DiAnn Tenorio, has pointed me toward a learning center site that I hope can get something drilled into this old head! Hopefully, I will have new files to post soon!

The DST Blog Train will be active on July 1st! Everyone always looks forward to their train as it is a really nice and organized one.  Stop by here for my part! This month's theme is Welcome To My World.

I have a blog gift for you today of an ultra-mini kit; hope you like it!

Have you been collecting the brag book pages made from Retro Summer?  The last one, number 7, is going to be this week's newsletter gift so be sure and sign up if you haven't already done so.

Thanks for coming by and remember to come back on Monday for the DST Blog Train!

Short Hello and a New Blog Gift!

Evening Y'all!

Well, I don't know about your neck of the woods but in ours it has been raining for what seems like weeks.  It is good for keeping the temperatures cool but it is misery for my allergy to mold. Everything is beautifully green though and that's a good thing. The primroses, bush roses, calla lilies, along with rabbit, squirrel, geese, duck, and bird babies are popping up or open all over the garden.  We have been having a bumper crop of wild mallard ducks this year as well as the Canada geese. My Mother use to say when you saw the wild things have more babies than usual, it meant that it was going to be a long cruel summer so they are hedging their bets.

We got some decent news this week after the doctor scared us half to death; Kimberli is not going to have to have dialysis start this week or be put on the transplant list just yet.  Her kidneys are now functioning at 40% which is up from the 35% of last November! Diabetes takes its toll on her poor little body in so many different ways and it is another of those diseases that doesn't 'show' so people don't cut her any slack.  We are thankful for this reprieve of her kidneys though!

I have been busy designing this week and have shown you the last two products just the other day.  I worked on a gift for you today and also one for the newsletter subscribers. Here is the one for the newsletter subscribers:

Here is the one for you, my great blog followers!  The link is below the image.

I am going to be involved in a couple of blog trains this month, one starts this Friday and another one starts next week. Thanks so much for dropping by and come back soon.

Thank You to our Military, Past, Present, and Future

Hope you have had an awesome week and have enjoyed this long weekend with your families. We seem to have one holiday after another in the US, Canada, and the UK!

This week's is Memorial Day and I am thankful for all our service personel from the past to the present who have worked so diligently to assure our freedoms and maintain order in the world. I love that we have at least one day a year when we can thank them all publicly and am outraged at the haters who have attacked service people this past week.  They are coward's who do not want to use the spoken or written word to let their views be known, but use the blood of the innocent. May you rot in hell!

I've debuted several products this past week and I hope you like them all enough to go to your favorite store and purchase one!  I have a little blog gift for you today; it doesn't necessarily coordinate with any scrap product but may be use for most! Just recolor to match your layouts.

Country Liv's Graphics Journal Spots Blog Gift

Two birdie journal spots with lovely word art to use on your layouts:

You may download your gift by clicking HERE!
Thanks for coming by and watch for the Pixel Scrapper Blog Train which will be pulling into my blog on June 1st!

Just Added!  My FaceBook Fan Page just hit 200 likes so that means a new Milestone Gift! Come to FaceBook and get yours!
