Hello Scrap Fans!
How was your last week of June? Can you believe that half the year has passed and Christmas isn't far away? The older you get the quicker the time passes, so, if you are still young, cherish every minute!
It may be the center of the year but it is still springtime in some places as evidenced by all the little animals showing up in FaceBook timelines. Friend, and awesome designer, Jodiann Cates has been raising a squirrel Pepper;
friends and cohorts Chris and Richard Allport have been working in their back garden that is ultra lovely and getting ready to just burst with flowers!
My little second cousin Courtney has been frolicking in her pool
and great grandson Gavin is having a wonderful time with his Nana Kim!
Busy busy time of the year!
I am still working on learning how to do cutting files. I thought I had everything ready and waiting to go but once the files were used a problem showed its nasty head. A new friend, DiAnn Tenorio, has pointed me toward a learning center site that I hope can get something drilled into this old head! Hopefully, I will have new files to post soon!
The DST Blog Train will be active on July 1st! Everyone always looks forward to their train as it is a really nice and organized one. Stop by here for my part! This month's theme is Welcome To My World.
I have a blog gift for you today of an ultra-mini kit; hope you like it!
Have you been collecting the brag book pages made from Retro Summer? The last one, number 7, is going to be this week's newsletter gift so be sure and sign up if you haven't already done so.
Thanks for coming by and remember to come back on Monday for the DST Blog Train!

It's Sunday! Time for a new blog gift!
Hello y'all,
How has this week treated you? I've been busy, as usual, but also disturbed by the new development in my daughter's, Kimberli, eyes. I believe I told you that the diabetes has taken so much from her and the current monster result is she is losing her eyesight. Last Monday she had an ocular migraine and then the vision in her left eye went black. A trip to the eye doctor confirmed that the blood vessels in the retina have broken away again and the blood is obscuring her vision. Friday he injected a chemo drug used on colon cancer patients into her eyeball! This is suppose to stop the blood flow, hopefully, but it is beyond my understanding how you can have chemicals injected into your eye and still have a chance of seeing with that eye again. The medical breakthroughs get more and more complicated and bizarre every year.
Enough about that. My store, Heartfelt Perfections is turning 3 years old this Tuesday the 25th! Leigh and Debbie have planned a really nice celebration with discounts and freebies; I have decided to put my shop on sale at 50% off! This is for one day, the 25th, and one store only. If there are any kits or products you have been wanting, then get on over there and pick them up at this deep discount.
I almost have 300 likes on my FaceBook Fan Page! I have another Retro Summer brag book page ready to give away when it hits the mark. Have you collected all the Retro Summer brag book pages? I have one for you today (below) and one will be in my newsletter on Monday for a total of 5 which makes a very nice mini album. This is the one that will be on FaceBook for the milestone gift:
This one will be in the newsletter Monday:
This one is ready for you now!:
There are 3 blog trains running through my blog this month. The Pixel Scrapper Blog Train is in the post of the 1st of June, the Berry Applicious Blog Train is in the June 14th post, and the Fibromyalgia Awareness Blog Train is in the June 20th post. Just scroll down so you can download all of these gifts today!
If you haven't signed up for my newsletter you are missing out on some nice newsletter gifts; just sign up in the right top of the sidebar!
I need some help people!! I need someone who still paper scraps or crafts that has an electronic cutting machine to test my cutting files. I plan on making greeting cards, alphas, boxes, bags, keepsakes, etc. but have to have them tested before putting them up for sale. If you can help me out I will pay you with free files of everything I design for cutting! I would get my own machine except I have way too much invested in Photoshop and Wacom now! LOL! So please if you can help out or if you know someone who could please leave me a message here in the comments section or send me a message via my FaceBook page. Thanks!
Have an awesome week!

Trying Something New
Hello everyone,
How are you tonight? Looking forward to the weekend? All my days run together since I retired so whatever day it is doesn't dictate what I do and it is fantastic to live this way!
If you are looking for the Fibromyalgia Awareness Blog Train it is in the previous post.
I am trying something new (to me) that I want to get your opinion on and maybe your help. I am experimenting with cutting files. You know the ones you use to download to your electronic cutting machines? My problem is I think I can make them okay and have a lot of ideas rolling around in my head but I don't own or have access to a cutting machine. That makes it rather difficult to test the files as I make them and before they go into my shops. The files can be used digitally too for designer kits and layouts using the shapes as templates for digital elements and shapes. You can also use regular paper scissors to hand cut out the shapes on your paper or fabric of your choice. So I think they will be very versatile and easy to use. The spirals in the preview below are my first cutting products, would you like to have the files and test them out in whatever type cutting machine you use? All I want in return is a thumbs up or down as to their formats and ease of use. Here is the preview; give it a once over and if you think you can test it for me just leave me a comment here or privately on my FaceBook page Liv Hudson.
Thanks for looking!

Happy Father's Day Guys!
Hello! Today is Father's Day in the English speaking countries; do you celebrate Father's Day today too? My Dad has been gone from me since August 2008. Sometimes it seems like I haven't seen him since I was a kid and other times I remember him with my children. He loved my girls to pieces and spoiled them rotten as every grandparent should.
We have had some rough weather this past week consisting of rain and electrical storms. The worst one knocked out our power and cable and took out one of the trees in our front yard. The next day I went to the dining room window to survey the damage and saw 3 small rabbits playing beneath the fallen branches; I guess they felt somewhat hidden under those leaves. We have a lot of wildlife around our house, how about you? I know I should take photos of my animal visitors but I never seem steady enough to get a good shot.
I have your weekly Blog Gift for you today. I made some brag book pages from my kit Retro Summer and will be offering one today and one tomorrow in my newsletter; I think I will make some additional ones for the milestone gift on my FaceBook Fan Page.
I hope you like this gift.
This is the one that will be in my newsletter tomorrow:

Short Hello and a New Blog Gift!
Evening Y'all!
Well, I don't know about your neck of the woods but in ours it has been raining for what seems like weeks. It is good for keeping the temperatures cool but it is misery for my allergy to mold. Everything is beautifully green though and that's a good thing. The primroses, bush roses, calla lilies, along with rabbit, squirrel, geese, duck, and bird babies are popping up or open all over the garden. We have been having a bumper crop of wild mallard ducks this year as well as the Canada geese. My Mother use to say when you saw the wild things have more babies than usual, it meant that it was going to be a long cruel summer so they are hedging their bets.
We got some decent news this week after the doctor scared us half to death; Kimberli is not going to have to have dialysis start this week or be put on the transplant list just yet. Her kidneys are now functioning at 40% which is up from the 35% of last November! Diabetes takes its toll on her poor little body in so many different ways and it is another of those diseases that doesn't 'show' so people don't cut her any slack. We are thankful for this reprieve of her kidneys though!
I have been busy designing this week and have shown you the last two products just the other day. I worked on a gift for you today and also one for the newsletter subscribers. Here is the one for the newsletter subscribers:
Here is the one for you, my great blog followers! The link is below the image.
I am going to be involved in a couple of blog trains this month, one starts this Friday and another one starts next week. Thanks so much for dropping by and come back soon.

New Commercial Use Templates
Check out my new CU Templates/Overlays! I’ve taken the drudgery out of designing striped diagonal papers! I’ve created these 8 templates/overlays so you can zip through and get to the fun part of adding colors, styles, filters, and blending options. Mix, match, stack, rotate, and flip to your heart’s content without worrying about messing up the spacing. These templates can be added to your elements too for coordinating custom look with your papers. These templates are suitable for personal use too!
