Another Link

Had some complaints about my beloved 4shared. I opened an account at Media Fire and uploaded the CATW kit; it took forever . . . . Here's the Link if you need it. Rapid Fire was also suggested but several of the designers are using Rapid Fire and it would only let me download 1 part of their kits! No thanks, thanks anyway.

Kim is still in ICU. They put a new pic line in her right arm and left the dirty one in her left arm. They still have not received the results back on the lab cultures so it might be a couple more days before she can go home. While they were putting in the new pic line her breathing was shallow and labored so they rushed her down to xray so they could check if the tubing had gone in the wrong place! Hospitals, can't live with them or without them.

Anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced gift for a 9 year old boy? He's got all the XBox and PSP games anyone could want and every other toy I can think of so I'm at a loss to know what to do for him. Everyone else is getting promises for Christmas but he's too young to understand why Nanny didn't get him anything for Christmas!

Speaking of Christmas! You know I said I haven't had a Christmas tree in years because I'm not able to bring it and the decorations down from the attic? Well I bought a really, really, tacky spiral indoor/outdoor tree today! LOL! I couldn't resist and the price was fabulous. It has really gross green tinsel wrapped around the wires and large orangery red, bright blue, white, green, and school bus yellow light covers with a school bus yellow lighted star on top! LOL! I'd take a photo but I'm just not ready to share this creation with y'all yet!

I see a number of you really like my CATW offering. I'm really pleased that you like it and hope to see some layouts using some of the elements or papers. Hint. Hint. Think you could post me a link or two to your Christmas layouts this year? Thanks, I'd enjoy that. I see where my creations are downloaded by the hundreds but I sometimes wonder if those are real people doing the downloading! I hit the galleries on a regular basis and I hardly ever see my stuff being used. :-( Makes me wonder if I should just stop putting out the effort. Anyway . . . hope you do enjoy this one and don't forget you can use the link above if the 4shared one (last post) isn't working. I've never downloaded anything from Media Fire so I don't know what to tell you to expect. Good luck!

Merry Christmas and Happy Scrapping!
Liv

Dearest Liv, again..my prayers with Kim, for a fast recovery so she can have a good Christmas with her family. I understand about setting up that big Xmas tree. My mom had a big tree for years and this year, she surprised us by buying another smaller ones..people here generally buy plastic, but they do sell real imported ones as well. Will check on your link. As for the 9 year old boy, I hope you'll find something he likes :)

Maybe Legos for the little guy, or Hotwheels/Matchbox sets? My son's 8 and those are what he's into, not sure the one year difference is all that big a deal.

I'm sure it can be discouraging to not see your work in galleries, but there are probably a lot of people like me who (a) are way behind in everything, including scrapping and email, and (b) don't generally upload to galleries. By the time I do get pages completed, I'm not always energetic enough to pass the results on to the designer. The reminder is good, though, and I'll try to do better.

Hope things get better for Kim. Positive thoughts to her and all of you. Good luck.

Thank you for your part CATW, I am slow to scrapbook as I am a beginner and I don't have a blog nor post on forum galleries but I do use the items. I just print mine out for the scrapbook. I will have a nice stash to use as there are a few blog trains plus items on the designers blogs. It is because of you and others like you that I am able to learn to do this at all. Thank you

Thank you for the wonderful gift.

I agree with you about Rapid Share...it sucks big time. They make you wait sometimes up to an hour before you can download again. So you only get one part of a person's kit and then forget to go back and download another part later. At least I do with this forgetful mind. LOL
I like Mediafire the best with 4shared with all its problems second.
Thanks again.

Thanks so much for sharing your talent! I appreciate it! I usually post my LOs on my blog and that is it. I am new to digi scrapbooking, so I am slow! It may be awhile, but when I do a LO using your contribution to the CATW blog train I will let you know!

Liv, I haven't followed your blog but I will light a say a prayer and light a candle for you and your family.
As for seeing any layouts at this point, I can only speak for myself - I'm so busy trying to get this train and all the others downloaded to find any time to use the goodies right now. Don't fret, they will be used - your time isn't wasted. I appreciate each contribution to this huge kit - one downloader gave the figures for it - it will almost fill two full DVD's. I'm not sure I will even get it all in time.
Thanks so much and I hope that you can enjoy the holiday season.
