Sunday's Free Gift!

Hello Friends,

I have to let you in on something that has happened to me this week! I got my first canine furbaby in 40 years! I picked her up from the rescue late Saturday afternoon and she is such a sweetie! She is a tiny, 3 pound, Chihuahua that thinks she is a big dog and is as stubborn and vocal as all Chi's are! I am so happy to have found this little girl because I fell in love with another one last week and we just could not get her to me before someone else got her, her name was Rosie and she was an adorable little Chi too.  I think that things happen for a reason and this little Minnie Mouse was supposed to be mine all along. Her foster mother has named her Mouse and I wanted to leave that but give her something feminine so Minnie it is and Minnie Mouse when she's in trouble!

It is after 2am here and I just got your blog gift finished because Miss Minnie didn't want my attention anywhere but on her!  I promised to give you a gift this Sunday that was worth the wait, I made you two Christmas tags that are printable for your packages.  I hope you like these as I almost had to apologize again for not being able to make anything. Just click on the link under the preview to download yours!

Thanks for hanging with me!

Here is your Sunday Blog Gift

Hello friends,

This post seems so trivial under the current circumstances in our world; I cannot imagine 10,000 people dead from anything, even a typhoon. My heart is heavy trying to come to terms with this and I am nowhere near the Philippines nor do I have any family in that area.  I also wonder how many thousands of animals have died. Lifting that entire part of the world in prayer and hope for those left behind.

Here is this week's blog gift:

In love,
Liv

Finally! A Freebie Post!

I know, I know :)  I have been MIA for so long you figured I had given up the ghost! I am a slow designer and poster. Everything has to be just so before I let it go and I have been told to just do it and get it over with but that won't ever happen with me! LOL! It is just the way I'm made.  I know a young designer that is a young mother, wife, student, office worker, and a blogger who post sometimes as many as three times a day and has freebies everyday! She is awesome and you should check her out! Sugarbutt Designs!      Now, doesn't that make up for my lack of speed?

Here is a free quickpage for you made by the (also) awesome Chris Allport! She has used my kit Mia Bella Zingaro and you can find it in any of my shops very soon and at Bella Zingaro Studio right now. Chris did such a nice job!

You may download this beautiful quickpage from 4Shared Here or MediaFire Here!

I have been working on a Christmas kit, Glorious Christmas, that I wanted to have in the stores by December 1 but that didn't happen! I like to make all my elements and papers so it does take a while but I can give you a sneak peek at what will be in it:

It will have photo masks, frames, two alphas, borders, elements, papers, and more!

Hope you all are having a wonderful week and I promise to try and get back to you soon.

Christmas Gift for You!

Hello my faithful blog friends.

It’s been many months since I have had the time or inclination to update my blog or to even make any graphics to share with you.  A lot has happened, some good, some bad, but I am thankful that I am able to wake up each morning looking forward to the day.  That has not always been the case, with me, and life is a joy when the future looks promising.  No, we still do not have gainful employment in our house but we are doing our best to make the most of what we have.

My daughter, Kim, is doing much better now than she has in years; praise God!  The feeding tube was removed from her abdomen and she is doing well with the surgery to widen the stomach opening every 90 days.  She has become stronger, has a new love interest, and looks forward to her days too.  My granddaughter, Suzy, has moved back to North Carolina from her bio-Mom’s in South Carolina.  My grandson Joshua is doing wonderful in school and we are so proud of the young man he is, as he has had some tough things to overcome in his eleven years! He remains a very bright spot in my life!

My daughter, Suzi, still lives in Virginia with her husband and children.  My grandson, Timothy, is now 21 and I expect to hear that he will be getting married soon.  My granddaughter, Tabitha, is having some problems with school but remains positive about it and her future.  She stays in close contact with me, much to my surprise (she is sixteen!) and delight.

As I was coming up to this age, I never saw myself as someone’s grandmother; I certainly never thought I would enjoy being one either! Surprise, surprise! Grandchildren are wonderful.

I sincerely hope you all have not forgotten me or think that I have forgotten you either. Who would have thought I would be able to make you a small graphics gift at this time of year?  It has taken me over a month to make six months worth of an 8.5 x 11 inch calendar!  I am calling this Part 1 with the hope that the last six months, Part 2, will be finished by the end of January 2011. I like this size calendar page because I print one out each month and hang it on the back wall of my computer desk where it is available ‘at a glance.’ This size is also great for resizing to wallet size.  Hope you enjoy using it.

Merry Christmas to all of you and may God grant you peace and joy for 2011.

Christmas BragBook-Page 10

Hey Y'all,
Before I get back to sharing my favorite eye candy of Vicki's I thought I would finally upload page 10 of the Christmas BragBook. I still want to make a couple more 'formal' type pages before I quit.

Hope you enjoy this one too!

Kimberli was feeling good today so she went to Joshua's school to help out. She amazes me! They can hardly get the well SAH Moms to come in!

Ring In The New Year!

I don't know about you all but I'm ready for a brand new year. This past one has been very hard to live and I am hoping for an easier time in 2010. I know, 'count your blessings' should be my mantra and most of the time it is but my family could use some happier times and better health.

Kim has been sick in bed since Christmas Eve. She called and said she has started to feel better and is sitting up and watching a movie with Joshua. She needs to have surgery for the stomach opening to be enlarged again and the bezores removed. They said this is an every 60 to 90 day procedure that she has to have so the stomach can empty.

I want to thank all of you for keeping up with me this past year as I haven't been the best blog host. Also thank you so much for the prayers and blessings sent for Kimberli. You guys have been great and I wish you all the very best for 2010.

I have finished two more pages for the Christmas Brag Book. These were more complicated and I was trying some new techniques so they took much longer than usual. I hope you enjoy using them. I am going to try and add a few more so that you have more pages to choose from.

Pages 5 and 6 of Christmas Brag Book

Hey Y'all,
I've finished and uploaded pages 5 and 6 of my free Christmas Brag Book!

Password is yuletide.

Hope you like them!

Kim had a good day except for a heart stopping scare. While she was out with friends today, Joshua's father told him to start the car for him and it went into gear and crashed into a chain link fence and had the back end hanging over a 15 foot retaining wall! This is so terrible because Joshua is only 10 years old and had no idea what he was doing and if the car had plunged over the retaining wall he would have been severely injured. As Joshua wasn't tall enough to touch the gas pedal the car went slowly downhill; God was looking out for him! Why must men do such things without thinking of the consequences of their actions! Joshua's father had this to say, "at least the car wasn't damaged!" Can you read my mind?

Merry Christmas!

Update

Kim got out of the hospital on Sunday but I'm afraid she will be going back in tomorrow as she's been vomiting all day. I left her around 5pm but am calling every hour to hour and a half to check on her.

I have finished two pages of the Christmas BragBook and an alphabet to match; I will post them as soon as I get a chance.

Hugs,
Liv

Happy Thanksgiving America!

Hey Y'all! Hope all is well and those of you in the US are having a wonderful family Thanksgiving. And all of my friends across the world, I hope you have a lovely day too! I'm thankful for each and every one of you.

I have another part of my Traditional Christmas Kit ready for you! It's 8 bright & shiny Christmas Ball Ornaments with a hook and 1/2 of a Christmas Tree! You can see how I used the half tree in my Tuesday post for ideas on what to do with these. Go HERE to download!

I have loads of ornaments for the tree as well as packages and toys to go under it. You can make your own printable Christmas cards with these elements as I made them all at 300 PPI. I hope you like using them!

Liv

Part 2 of My Christmas Kit

Hey Y'all,

Here is a quick page preview I made from the Christmas Around the World Kit that will be available here on December 12th. I decided to make this so you could get some ideas on how to use the ornaments and elements I'm making for the Traditional Christmas Kit. Calling it Part 2 simply because it's easier! If you would like to have this quick page go HERE!

Kim was having a pretty good day today until a couple of hours ago then all hell broke loose in the grocery store. I don't know how she continues to put herself out in public and take the humiliation I know she feels when she loses control. She's a better person than I am, for sure. Amazing. She did tell me that when she has to have the 'pic' line replaced they are going to put in a permanent 'port' in her chest for the daily fluids she takes. It will be better in that she can take showers and baths without having to wrap herself in plastic wrap and tape to keep the pic line protected. If you are familiar with how Chemo is dispensed in cancer patients then you know what kind of port I'm speaking of. There is surgery to put it in and also to take it out when it is no longer needed.

Please continue to keep my girl in your prayers please.

Love,
Liv
